Kaamilah Moore is the Executive Director of The Haile L. Alford Foundation. She is a thoughtful professional with over a decade experience in Corporate America defining goals, working with collaborators and influencing the implementation of projects and programs to ensure their successful execution. She has a passion for and experience in working with executives, teams and organizations to make a positive impact.
She has previously worked with Rock to the Future as their Germantown Site Director and continues to collaborate with the impactful organization on a number of youth programs; the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) as their Director of Strategic Initiatives; Ernst & Young as their Recruiting Leader for all entry level professionals in the state of Florida; and JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management as their Financial Analyst in the US Equities team. With a business background in strategic management, career development and building team programs, her experience has been instrumental in developing key partnerships and crucial funding for The Haile L. Alford Foundation.
Kaamilah earned both her B.A. And M.B.A from Florida A&M University.
The Honorable Aida Waserstein is a retired judge who served on the Family Court bench from 1995 to 2017. Prior to that she was in private practice with Christine Dempsey, Esquire. Judge Waserstein is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Sections on Multi-Cultural Lawyers and Judges, Women and the Law, and Family Law. She previously served on the Supreme Court’s Task Force on Racial and Ethnic Fairness. She is the recipient of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Distinguished Service Award and the Women’s Leadership Award; the Brotherhood Award of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, Delaware Region; and the Minority Women in Business Award. Judge Waserstein’s leadership role in promoting cultural understanding and diversity and her many contributions to the community in Delaware make her a valued board member of the Haile L. Alford Foundation.
Judge Waserstein is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
Crystal Davis is the Co-Director/Assistant Principal of the Institute for Health Professions at Cambria Heights, a public Career and Technical Education high school in Queens, NY. She is a dedicated school leader who has over 15 years experience working in Education. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Florida A&M University, a Master of Arts in Urban Education (concentration in Mathematics) degree from Adelphi University, a Master of Education in Counselor Education degree from Queens College, and School Building Leader Advanced Certificate from the College of Saint Rose. As such, she provides a wealth of expertise to the Haile L. Alford Foundation as we strive to improve the lives of under-served youth, adolescents and young adults.
Crystal credits the foundation that she received at the School of Business and Industry at Florida A&M University for her strong sense of professionalism, resourcefulness, and the ability to dream big.
Mrs. Davis is a proud wife, mother of 3, volunteer, member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and random hobbyist.
Harry Alford is the Treasurer of The Haile L. Alford Foundation. As a dedicated and detail oriented accounting professional, Harry Alford has been providing accounting expertise to both individual clients and organizations for over 50 years. Before retiring in 2016, Harry served as
the Chief Financial Officer for CABS Nursing Home for 16 years. In his position, he checked all outgoing and incoming transactions, making precise records of all expenses for annual auditing purposes. Additionally, he summarized and analyzed all financial documents in order to prepare
reports on the organization’s financial status during management meetings. With this financial background, his experience will be crucial in providing The Haile L. Alford Foundation with sound financial advice and guidance.
Harry earned his A.S. from Manhattan Community College.
